1. Information PixelPop may process

When you play, PixelPop can create a random browser identifier and store gameplay information connected to it. That information can include an optional Arcade Name, game sessions, scores, levels, favorites, challenge progress, game events, and timestamps. Your browser may also store local game progress, high scores, favorites, your Arcade Name, and the random PixelPop visitor key.

If you contact PixelPop about a sponsorship, song placement, partnership, privacy request, or other question, the information you submit can include your name, email address, organization/artist name, link, message, and rights confirmation.

Like most websites, hosting, security, and advertising systems may also process technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, request logs, cookies, or similar technologies.

2. Why PixelPop uses it

Gameplay information is used to run games, preserve progress, operate favorites and leaderboards, measure how the arcade is used, prevent abuse, and improve PixelPop. Contact information is used to review and respond to the inquiry you sent.

3. Public leaderboards

If you choose an Arcade Name and submit a qualifying score, that Arcade Name and your score or placement may appear publicly. PixelPop does not require your real name for the leaderboard. Do not use an Arcade Name that reveals information you do not want public.

4. Advertising and sponsors

PixelPop may show direct sponsorships and third-party advertising, including Google advertising services. Advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies and the consent choices presented to you where required. Direct sponsors receive the traffic or campaign reporting PixelPop agrees to provide, but PixelPop does not sell a sponsor a player's Arcade Name, score history, or contact inquiry merely because the sponsor bought placement.

5. Your browser storage

Some PixelPop data lives only in your browser. Clearing site data in your browser can remove those local copies, but it does not automatically erase gameplay records already stored on PixelPop's server. Use the Manage My Data page if you want both the server-side player record and PixelPop local browser data removed.

6. Exporting or deleting player data

If the browser still has your PixelPop visitor key, you can use Manage My Data to export the server-side gameplay data associated with that key or permanently delete it. Deletion removes the associated Arcade Name, scores, sessions, favorites, and events from PixelPop's database and clears PixelPop local-storage keys in that browser.

That self-service tool does not control information held independently by third parties such as an advertising provider. Those services provide their own privacy and consent controls.

7. Other privacy requests

If you cannot use the self-service tool, or if your request concerns information submitted through the Contact page, use Contact PixelPop. PixelPop may need enough information to reasonably verify a request before changing or deleting records.

8. Retention

PixelPop keeps gameplay and contact information for as long as it is reasonably useful for the purposes described above, unless it is deleted earlier or a longer period is needed for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal obligations. PixelPop aims to avoid keeping personal information simply because storage is available.

9. Children

PixelPop is a general-audience arcade and is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 should not submit personal information through the Contact page or choose an Arcade Name containing personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information can contact PixelPop to request review or deletion.

10. Security

PixelPop uses reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a small online service, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

11. Changes

This policy may be updated as PixelPop adds features, advertising systems, competitions, accounts, or other services. The effective date at the top will be updated when the policy materially changes.
